Thousands of protesters in Delhi are set to defy police orders and march at the Indian parliament amid growing calls for prime minister Narendra Modi’s education minister to be sacked over exam paper leaks.

Setting up a possible showdown with students, activists and political groups, police have denied supporters of the youth-led Cockroach Janta party ⁠permission to march on Monday.
